5 Lesbians Eating A Quiche.
It’s 1956 and the Susan B. Anthony Society for the Sisters of Gertrude Stein are having their annual quiche breakfast. Will they be able to keep their cool when Communists threaten their idyllic town?
A brilliant ensemble piece, the play left everyone in attendance tickled. The five ladies in the cast gelled together seamlessly and their warmth and affection for one another came across from the off. It is an absolutely absurd piece of storytelling, which is almost made to appear natural!
It was a perfect fit for the Studio stage and well worth the intrigue!
