Journey’s End

The drama, set in the trenches of World War One, offers a bleak and brutally honest insight and depicts the psychological effects of war on soldiers and officers. Stanhope, the commander, struggles with alcoholism and guilt, while Raleigh, a young recruit, idolizes him.
