What's On
Originally performed by renowned theatre company “Frantic Assembly” this is a deeply moving and visceral play.
We had planned to stage this in 2020 before the pandemic hit, and of course that had to be put on hold. We are now delighted to be able to finally bring this gorgeous play to the Concordia stage.
Centred around the Price family headed up by Fran and Bob, and their 4 grown up children, “Things I know to be true” is a snapshot of family life, and a story about love. At times comforting and supportive, at other times suffocating and destructive. But always love.
Breathtakingly tender and touching, funny and bold, the life of this family will be highly relatable to the audience. This one is sure to stay with you long after the curtain comes down.
The play is directed by Joanne Holt, who is bringing together the crew that staged The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time, so you can expect a visually dramatic production.
The Cast
An informal read through of the play and auditions for all 6 roles will take place at the end of March and we will be sending details out very soon.
